Preventative Care

Preventative veterinary care is important to stop problems in their tracts before they even arise. This can include something as basic as your pets annual examination, to the highly recommended monthly flea and tick medication. 

Prevention is always better than having to find a cure – for you, your pet and your wallet! 

  • Yearly Vaccinations

  • Flea and Tick Prevention that we carry in hospital include, but are not limted to:

  • Annual Deworming – in most cases, we recommend deworming medication be sent home only in the case of infection. We recommend testing your pets stool sample regularly to check for ova and parasites before sending home deworming medication.
    Please bring a stool sample with you to your annual vaccination appointment and speak with our veterinarians regarding the best options to keep your pets in best health!

  • Annual deworming is recommended for treatment and prevention of any intestinal parasites your cats may have contracted. We recommend bringing in your pets stool sample to be sent to the laboratory to check for ova and parasites regularly. Please speak with one of our veterinarians regarding the best course of preventative treatment for your household and your animals.
